Sébastien Diot obtained his Master’s degree in Drug Science and Structural Biology at the University of Montpellier, France in 2018.
He has worked in the cellular pharmacology team at IBMM since 2017. He holds experience in fluorescence, biochemistry and cellular biology but more specifically in cell cycle biology, biosensors and cancer. He has been involved in projects concerning characterization of fluorescent peptide biosensors (KINPEP project) and CNT-peptide nanobiosensor conjugates (NANOMULTISENS project) as kinase activity reporters. He was involved in characterization of a stapled peptide inhibitor of CDK4 kinase and on the mechanism of action of an allosteric inhibitor of CDK4 (CDK4PPI project) which received the “MATWIN Award for the Best Academic Project in Oncology” in 2019
